The Jersey Giant is an American breed of domestic chicken. It was created in Burlington County, New Jersey, in the late nineteenth century. It is among the heaviest of all chicken breeds.

Habitat

The Jersey Giant is typically found on farms and in backyard flocks across the United States. They are adaptable to various climates but do best in environments where they have space to roam. These birds thrive in a rural setting with access to grassy areas for foraging.
